The hat is nice. That’s where it ends. The fan only works in direct sunlight. Many solar devices will work under artificial light with no problem. Even if you find yourself in the slightest bit of shade, the fan will shut down. It’s obvious that the solar panel is the cheapest that the manufacturer could find. You would think a $63 Strawhat would have some better components. The people who built this thing are laughing all the way to the bank because it cost them 50 cents to manufacture. Also when the fan IS operating, it moves little air. The pitch on the blades doesn’t facilitate enough air movement. Not a well thought out product.
