My husband was recommended this hat by a medical professional due to a cancer diagnosis and the contraption he must wear on his head which gets hot do to the 36 LED looking battery things on it. As soon as he would go in the sun the device would alarm and he’d have to get out of the sun, but when he got the hat and wore it as soon as he got in direct sun the fan would run and the device didn’t alarm. Yay! Now mind you its not cold air it’s just outside air being blow over the scalp with a fan….but it really does help. It would be nice if it had a chin strap though. He works out in the yard and if he bends over it can fall off and get dirty.
